Finally, here’s the layer with just the characters and logos to the alternate Way Bad book cover I was talking about here. There’s gonna be a rad launch party soon. Pay attention to this Tumblr and to Permanent Sleep’s (they’re the ones putting it out) for details on that.

The Way Bad book’s all printed, and to celebrate, here’s an alternate cover that ended up not being used. The original plan was for this to be a special type of cover. The background (the pile of stuff) was gonna be printed on the actual book cover and colored in blue. The characters and text were gonna be printed all in green on a cellophane page that covered the whole thing to make a complete image. Kinda like an animation cell on top of a background. You’d flip the cellophane page to reveal just the pile of stuff underneath.
The cover that’s ACTUALLY being used is like a postcard with the cover graphic on it embedded in the book cover. Rad shit. Get stoked.

This Tumblr of mine’s been pretty dead, so I’ll post up a commissioned piece I just finished. Here’s an ice cream cone cyclops I did for Oklahoma City’s LOTTA TUFF. The Way Bad book is at the printer’s! 80 pages of scumbag drawings of skateboarding, punk rock, beer-drinking, pizza-eating, gnarly tattoos, bad words, and more is headed your way. There’s gonna be all your favorite (read: least hated) pieces from up on the Way Bad Tumblr, plus some stuff that’s exclusive to the book (including Bad Humans #3). There’s also a buncha notes written especially for the book on every piece in it.
Launch party next month! Details on that (it’s gonna be rad), and how to order coming soon! Find a coffee table in the trash and put this book on it, fool!
